This course is designed to prepare the student for entry-level positions by providing direct client contact in a hemodialysis/dialysis setting. It provides a general background as well as some basic principles and a broad overview of dialysis and its practical applications.

Electrocardiogram Technician – 5 Weeks

The focus of this class is to provide the students with an entry-level knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation in a clinical setting. The visual aspect consists entirely of diagrams, models, rhythm strips, and in many cases animation of the aforementioned elements.

Medical Assistant – 20 weeks

This course will provide the student with a comprehensive foundation to be an effective administrative and clinical Medical Assistant.

Phlebotomy Technician – 6 Weeks

This course is designed to provide the student with entry-level knowledge in procedures involving phlebotomy using vacutainers, syringes, and butterfly methods. Students receive instruction in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, vital signs, and the use and care of laboratory equipment and supplies.

Psychiatric Technician- 15 months (60 weeks)

The theoretical framework of Psychiatric Technician introduces the students to theories and ideologies utilized to better assist the psychiatric client with pertinent issues.
